About Equal Payments Ltd

Equal Payments Ltd is an independent UK business energy broker based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, comparing business gas and electricity prices across suppliers and quoting businesses anywhere in the UK. With 14 years in the energy market, the team reads a customer's bill with them in plain English — unit rate, standing charge and contract end date — then negotiates the most competitive price and handles the switch, including the Letter of Authority. The company also resolves billing errors, transfers a business never agreed to, moves customers away from suppliers that are not helping them, and handles change of tenancy and new-business setups. No fee is charged to the customer directly: the broker's commission is included in the price negotiated with the supplier, with nothing added on top.

Free to copy. Please keep the fee wording as it is: no fee is charged to the customer directly — the commission is included in the price negotiated with the supplier.

Equal Payments Ltd publishes plain-English guides to standing charges and contract renewals

Weston-super-Mare, Somerset — Equal Payments Ltd, an independent UK business energy broker, has published two free guides for business owners: a plain-English explanation of the standing charge on a business energy bill, and a step-by-step guide to switching before a contract ends and rolls onto a more expensive renewal.

Many business customers cannot say what their unit rate or standing charge is. The standing charge guide explains the daily line on the bill, what it pays for, and why a low unit rate can still cost more overall. The contract guide explains why the six months before a contract ends is the window that decides the price, and what to do in it.

Both guides are free to read on the Equal Payments blog. The company's comparison and switch service is also free to the customer: no fee is charged directly, and the broker's commission is included in the price negotiated with the supplier, with nothing added on top.

Equal Payments Ltd adds Companies House checks to every business energy quote

Weston-super-Mare, Somerset — Equal Payments Ltd, an independent UK business energy broker, now checks a limited company against the official Companies House register as the customer fills in a quote request.

When a business types a Ltd, Limited, LLP or PLC name, the quote form shows matching companies with their company number and status. The customer picks their own company, and the official details travel with the enquiry, so quotes can be prepared against the right legal entity from the start.

The check is part of the free quote service. No fee is charged to the customer directly: the broker's commission is included in the price negotiated with the supplier, with nothing added on top.

Equal Payments Ltd launches a quick quote and a price-rise calculator for businesses

Weston-super-Mare, Somerset — Equal Payments Ltd has launched a quick quote page that asks only for a postcode, contract end date and current unit rate, with the option to attach a bill. Every request receives a confirmation email and a quote within 24 hours.

Alongside it, a price-rise calculator shows a business what the October and January increases could mean for its own bill, and why checking a contract six months before it ends matters.

Both are free to use. No fee is charged to the customer directly: the broker's commission is included in the price negotiated with the supplier.
